Melbourne

I fall in love in social media and digital marketing, it's always amaze by how this platform can accommodate people's passions from art, travel, fashion, food, health and wellbeing and so many other things at the same time it create a huge community that support each other.

After a while running and managing few social media accounts, I feel exhausted and drained, the platform is not as fun as it used to be, it become superficial that I personally feel too much and exhausting, so I step back and more focus in the full time job that I have and I left my used to be fun personal project for quite sometime.

I fell out of love with the digital marketing and social media, I lost the interest to create a content that I love, that I passionate about now everyone is so focus about making the right numbers, making a right viewers, increase likes and followers and I don't see many people genuinely love to making content anymore.

So today, I reviewed back again what I have done in the past year, what I have been letting go and questioning myself why.

I set a few tasks that need to be done, I just hate using the word goals which I have never did it sounds like a sales man dictate by their sales manager, I need to fall in love with the things I left behind.

I need go to the art shop and start buying art tools and back to paint, I need to finish reading 3 books that I bought back in 2015 hmmm 4 actually including the massive thick Inferno, I need to tidy up all the archive travel images, I need to travel more, I need to meet more new people and I need to be back on writing and create content that I personally love despite all the statistics and the numbers, so here I am start and trying to fall in love with the things that make who I am today so enjoy all the  archive images from Melbourne trip back in October 2015.

Arrived in Melbourne and straight away lost in Melbourne tram system, after an hour of getting lost I finally I checked myself in at the Airbnb located in Prahran. Melbourne housing completely different compare to the Queenslander house. Once I settled in, I straight away head out to and find myself sort of lost at Chapel Street which I love since it remind me a bit of Seminyak, funny how now I get annoyed by Seminyak when I used to miss it a lot!

 Royal Arcade - Melbourne

After walked around for a bit in the CBD and fascinate by how big it is compare to Brisbane CBD I finally came across Hopetaun Tea Rooms, if you know me well you will know how much I love food, I mean is there any other word for love? If there is, that would be the word to describe my relationship with food.

Finally get a seat in after queued for 15 minutes I don't hold myself back, straight away ordered cake of the day and another cake that looks absolutely glorious and of course another cup of coffee to accompany the yumminess.

I decided to walk around again since I only have 3 days so I need to maximise the trip and completely did not realise I'm running out of battery on my phone. In this digital era with no batteries, I got myself to the tourist information centre and got a map. Yep, it is a map, in a piece of paper.

                                                                                                  Coop's Shot Tower

After 4 hours of walked around in the CBD and still amaze by the whole architecture in the city again compare it to Brisbane, Melbourne offer you almost a whole complete experience. It is cultural, food and coffee snobs and architecture amusement everywhere you go.

                                                             Flinders Street Station

Second day I decided to visit Victoria State Library and it is exactly what I can imagine, architecturally amazing and the I drawn couple hours browsing their books collection.

                                                                    State Library Victoria

So everyone has been telling me about Melbourne China Town, so I gave it a go and see what's the buzz about it. Scored the best Xiao Long Bao that I have ever taste in my whole entire existence in this world.

When you say Melbourne I say COFFEE!! I did actually have my coffee addiction sorted in Melbourne, had 4 cups of coffee in a day because you can not just say no to a great coffee, it is a masterpiece.

Sunny Boy Cafe,  4/440 Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia

                                                                                         Brunetti Cafe

Arrived in Fitzroy first place I chose to have breakfast called Grace Cafe located in 76 Rose St , breakfast is alright since I chose a meal contain bread the mighty overrated Sourdough which is far least favourite of mine but goodness lord the coffee is excellent!

First thing you noticed when you get to Fitzroy is the graffiti, each corner will have something painted an eye gazing thing and it tells this side of town is very diverse, creative, colourful and have it's own vibe.

I went to Melbourne alone and glad I did, in that way I can maximise the short period trip and have my own way to say goodbye to Australia. Thank you Melbourne for the coffee, for the mesmerising architecture, the food, the people, the art on each corner of the city. You are officially second favourite city in Australia after Brisbane.

Thank you to everyone that read the blog, I'm pretty sure I made a lot of grammar mistake but we all learn by doing right?
Till the next travel archived, adios!!
